Awareness Through Movement lessons are guided sequences of gentle movements, done slowly in a comfortable range of motion with focused attention so as to become aware of unexpected and interesting connections within and between the movements. Continued practice can improve  mobility, flexibility, balance, quality, ease and range of movement while eliminating  unnecessary muscular strain, improve overall wellbeing and create a unique inner stillness. Students are often amazed at the quick and clear changes that occur through the neuromuscular repatterning (neuroplasticity) demonstrated in this practice.
